RELEASED [SMAPI 0.39+/STORM]Divorce mod

Type 'divorce' before going to bed and your spouse should be gone by the next morning(Your spouse's room will disappear the next time you load your save.)
Extras:
'bye_child" to delete your children.
"spawn_child (name)" to spawn a child. The baby is invisible until the next morning.
"marry (npc)"
"respawn (npc)" Respawns a NPC to its default position.
"friendship (npc) (value)"
"upgradehouse (value)"

Update:
*Changed how the divorce command works.
*You will get a new mermaid's pendant when you divorce.

Added Storm version. Press 'N' to divorce.


Always backup your save just in case something gets messed up.

I don't think that someone would like to remove a baby, but maybe someone would like to do it or add if he/she doesn't have one.

 

Added both delete/spawn child commands.

 

Well if You want to propose to someone else, You'll need to use command player_additem 460 1 0 or save editor to get another Mermaid's Pendant.

What do you mean with "Type divorce"? I can't seem to type anything in game, or am I missing some crucial detail? Thanks for the mod and hopefully an answer to this question.

 

You have to type it into the SMAPI command console

 

This is a cool mod, I hope something like this gets incorporated into the base game. (With dialogue!) Maybe also your spouse could divorce you if you let your hearts drop too low for too long.

 

After leaving Leah alone with two screaming babies, coming home drunk and wanting 'hugs', kissing other people in front of Leah, coming home with giant gaping wounds and bleeding all over the bed, coming home smelling like large mouth bass and possessing copious amounts of crabs, never speaking to Leah, and selling Leah's precious art for booze money...in front of her, Leah decided she'd had enough.

 

So... I don't know if anyone else has had this problem yet but after divorcing Leah in summer, her married presence still haunts my house... basically, when I try to go to sleep, invisible Leah asks me if I want a baby. If I say yes, the game crashes. If I say no, the game still crashes. I've tried everything in my power to get around this i.e deleting the mod, using the divorce command to divorce Leah again and using the datable command, skipping the day and saving it from the command console, loading it, but nothing is working. I'm going to try making the time go up to 1:50 am and waiting until I pass out to see if that works but if it doesn't, I have no idea. (Note, I did propose to Penny and the day I'm on is the day before the wedding... I don't know for sure if this could possibly have anything to do with my problem but I'm guessing that that may be why everything is screwed up right now)

So I tried that... didn't work. Tried deleting anything Leah related... didn't work.

 

Try typing "kill Leah" or "marry Penny".

 

Any plans to make a divorce mod for Storm?
