Building/Ship Show off your house :D

Did you have to dig deeper down in the ocean to be able to build your house? I mean so it doesn't get flooded by infinate water. :L

 

No, if you place blocks underwater and remove them (but leaving some around to separate the new area from the water) it will no longer flood, even without walls in the background. And you only have to do it once. For example, if you make a hole and let water come again, you can isolate the area and drain the water with the matter manipulator, even without placing blocks in there like the first time.

But until you place the blocks, water will keep coming in.

 

You can drain the ocean. Place poison water ontop and dig to hell and leave a hole ontop of your dig

I started playing on the unstable... couldn't resist. Been trying out the novakid, and thought I'd share a few examples from the town he's building.

 

Very neat looking designs. Very imaginative.
