Resolved Shipping bin keeps eating up items stored in chests

I'm currently in summer of Year 4. Recently, I've encountered a glitch where my chests are automatically emptied out one by one, every item sold through the shipping bin near the farmhouse. Sometimes it even happens at the start of the day, when I'm still in bed.

I've tried restarting the game and removing suspect mods (Ship Everything, etc.) but the glitch keeps coming back Any help would be very much appreciated!

Hi there! I'm running the PC version on Windows 10. My mods include:

- Automatic Gates

- Tillable Ground
- Wedding Locations

I've been using these mods for quite a while (Tillable Ground being the only exception, but the glitch didn't go away when I removed it). I also have the latest version of SMAPI. Everything is up to date according to the Mod Update Menu.

The shipping bin started selling my stuff around 1PM on Day 17 of Summer, Year 4. I managed to "fix" it by leaving the farm before that time and going back a few hours later. Couldn't do that on Day 18 though, since it happened as soon as I woke up...

 

does automate mod connect the chest and bin? that'd be a problem
press U ingame, and if the bin is green, then something is connected to it, could also be the pathing

EDIT (again) new automate can connect from distance, right? (i'm still playing on an old version)
could still be automate, not sure, though

 

OMG that's it! I didn't remember that Automate gave you the option to automate shipping bins (as nothing ever really happened until now). Once I set it to "false" in the config.json, everything went back to normal. Thank you so much

EDIT: i didn't know the newer versions of automate had such option, still using an older one without it
