I think, that adding a radio to the ship is a good idea, because i mentioned, that ship has no music and it's boring to do things on it. So I thing adding a radio is a perfect idea! And if you love the silence on the ship, you can just turn it off!
And the radio could just use the same system as the instruments we find, by using .abc files so you can choose the song and add some new ones as well.
