Bug/Issue Secret notes only show up in inventory, not collections tab

I have the magnifying glass and several secret notes. But the secret notes just show up as items in my inventory, rather than as a new tab on the collection window. I can't find anyway to interact with them or read them; I've even tried shipping one to make it show up on the collections window, to no avail.

I really hope that I'm not just being silly and missing something obvious. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

 

You are going to kick yourself, but you use them from the inventory like you would to eat.

Once you use one, a tab will show up in the collections area showing you which ones you've read.
