Title, basically. I want to be able to get back whatever wallpaper/flooring was previously set when I put a new one down. It just doesn't make sense to me that it just disappears. I know this isn't realistic but I don't care. Not sure if any API currently has hooks to make this possible, but if it does it'd be as easy as detecting what wallpaper / floor was there and spawning that item into the player's inventory (or on the floor next to the player if their inventory is full?). Thank you for reading and to anyone that might be able to make this mod a reality.
i agree with this suggestion!! either this way or maybe make a box-type thing you can select your wallpaper from after you put yours in it. idk code or how that could be implemented but i'm sure theres some kind of value for checking whether an item is put in, item taken out, and wallpaper change. so those values are really all that needs to be known probably
