Now that fog has been fixed I've took to making some fog maps, but in my tests I'm finding that units have too much visibility in fog. Almost every unit gets 4 sight in fog. The stronghold gives a whopping 7 visibility! If you want your fog game to have any challenge at all you might as well stick the stronghold in a corner somewhere. I made a 25x25 map and by turn 4 a good majority of the map was visible as went through the capture phase. The villages are fairly spaced out as well. I'm finding I'm not getting the challenge I want out of playing a fog unless I make huge maps, or make low funds fog maps by having less villages so there's less visibility. If unit/stronghold sight was adjusted fog would be a lot more fun to play. I'm curious what the reasoning was to giving units so much sight in fog? Especially the stronghold.
