Basically my gripe with the new unique weapon Ray Gun is that the projectile begins at the muzzle of the gun at its lowest possible point, so it flies awkwardly tangent and above the direction of aim, as would a negative cosine wave travel. If this were changed to a simple sine wave the projectile would begin at the midline of the wave and so its movement would more reasonably oscillate around the direction of aim instead of always above it. I'll start by saying that I completely agree But I also want to mention that I love how technical it sounded. You could have said "Make the ray gun fire from the middle of the wave instead of the bottom", but instead you went with proper sine and cosine. I'm not sure why I find that so delightful.
This would make the Ray Gun easier to use, and, specially, a lot easier to actually hit anything with it.
