Here's my suggestion for making it easy to travel and backtrack on worlds. Beam-Points: As you explore a planet, major landmarks are registered automatically, so when you select the beam down option, you have the option to start at areas besides the default starting point, such as the east/west village entrances, dungeon entrances, and biome borders. Link Conduits: These are a type of ancient portal, when activated, you use a menu of the star system you're in with a line from the planet you're on leading to another. There are at least two LCs on each planet in the star system, forming a chain that connects the planets together. You also have the option of warping to any Conduit that's been activated in the star system. I await opinions and feedback.
