Introducing the Porta-Porter!

The Porta-Porter is a craft-able teleporter pad.

Edit:Since the new update things have changed in the player.config files.. I had to fix this because it created a crash bug..

So now its compatible with the new update

Edit: Fixed the porter showing up by default now only craftable with crafting table. Fixed porter showing up in 3d printer for 1 pixel. Updated player.config to be compatible with Offended Koala.

IF, however, this does not work, simply omit the coding and drop the contents of the mods/porta-porter straight into your assets files and allow it to over write your files. =)
Right now the ingredients are pretty relaxed and allow easy crafting of several Porta-Porters.
They are as follows:
5 Iron Bars
2 Copper Bars
2 Glass Blocks
1 Coal Ore
Feel free to change these values as you see fit by going into the recipes file in your assets folder. It will be under porta-porter. I recommend Notepad++ for editing these files. ^-^ Enjoy!

 

Is this the same thing you beam down from your ship?

 

Yes I just made a portable version

 

So can you beam up to your ship using this?

 

havent tried it yet but would it be possible to scan the planet for other port pads so you can sort of quick travel to already placed pads? by selecting the one you want from a list.

 

You can port back to your ship.

And that's a good idea I'll check into it it should be possible

 

This has excellent potential! Looking forward to it's future.

Sorry... I just made and shared it. I didn't mean to do the same thing you did. I'll put this post up for deletion thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Edit: I'm not going to delete it. I don't see anything wrong with me sharing a mod even if another like it already exists.

 

Dude I dont really care, I just wish people would SEARCH the forums first before just posting things. So many topics about the same stuff over, and over, and over again.

The player.config file provided in the download is out of date and incompatible with verstion Indignant Koala 11/12/2013.
