While I like your guns and such, I do find the idea of adding terraria items into starbound a little... unnecessary. I'm just glad you've added your own spin onto these items. Regardless of my previous point I do hope to see plenty more where that came from, have a good day Sir!

I see where you're coming from, and if this was just straight up adding the phoenix blaster to starbound, it would be a little stupid. The point of this mod, though, is less to add the Phoenix blasters' look and more to add its feel. So far I feel like most of the weaponry in Starbound is a little bland and unfulfilling, so I wanted to make something that feels more unique and powerful, and the first thing that came to mind was the phoenix blaster, because it is exactly that: a gun that feels powerful and special to shoot.

(Sorry for the late reply; I meant to post this sooner, but moving got in the way :/ )

 

Yes, I agree, it is different to the original Phoenix Blaster and I think this is a great mod! Cant wait to see different strands of guns too!

Umm... Some of the guns can't be crafted... they are reading as needing "Perfectly Generic Items" instead of the items you codded the recipe as needing. Um... the errors seem to be in the recipe files. The "Frost Core" & "Anzu" both seem to have problems. The frost core's Ice fragments and the Anzu's sandstone.

What typpe of crafting table do we use?

 

All current recipes use the iron anvil, forge, or magnetic crucible. The anvil is used for the basic guns and swords, the forge is used for the more advanced versions, and the magnetic crucible is used for some of the ingredients for the Articuno.

 

I found a bug concerning Yliaster. Whenever I find and mine it on moons, the ore just creates Perfectly Generic Items.

How exactly do we find Molten Cores?
There doesn't seem to be any recipe...

 

Molten cores are (I believe) a drop from Dreadwing

 

I'll farm him for a few minutes, so far I haven't gotten any cores from him

EDIT: Appearantly, Molten Cores do not drop.

 

Hmm... I'll look into that. It's probably a change from the update to Pleased Giraffe.

 

I got a problem, I can seem to find the yliaster anywhere. I did look into the files to see how it looks like, but I still cant find it

 

ech, dammit. Looks like I'm gonna have to fit a round of bugfixing into tomorrow.
Just making sure, have you checked the moons? at all layers?
