Oops user error pls delete

So I'm trying to date Emily I had her at over 3 hearts but just under the 4th the morning of her birthday thus when I brought her a topaz it gave her 7 hearts then I walked out of her house on a sunny day triggering the bird cutscene then after that I walked back inside triggering the dance cutscene I said it was amazing witch gave me the points needed for 8 hearts.... so I just needed to go to sleep and trigger the 3-4 letters in the mail that open up the rest of the cutscenes right?... it's now the 2nd of summer I have talked to Emily and Piare and still aint gotten squat in the mail.... Do I have to restart the whole save??? I am playing the GOG version on Linux



My bad upon reloading my save i was at SIX hearts NOT EIGHT!
