Although helpful, is this mod any different from sashyme's Ship Teleporter Pad Mod?

 

this mod features the correct teleporter for each race; you don't have to do any editing to the mod yourself, when creating a new character you automatically start with it, on existing characters you get it when doing another ship upgrade
