This only seems to work for some people strangely enough.

I do not have any special characters in my name and I am still having this bug.

 

it's frustrating been waiting for this update for like a year i hope there is a solution

It seems that is a config issue. Because the options missing will appear in others PC's. This is very strange.

 

I had this problem and I fixed it by turning off my firewall/antivirus.

Thank you! This also worked for me. Tried it out a few minutes in a tester game, seems to work fine now.

YES. Reinstalled the x86 package, worked like a charm. Using Windows 10, no special characters in steam name, all port forwarding already set up. Installing the x86 vcredist above fixed problem!

 

Installing the x86 also helped me out! I'm finally able to play with my friends, yay!

Worked for me i had to change my steam name....

 

Changing my Steam user name resolved the issues as well for me, thanks guys ♡
