I recently installed the Nortan Security thing and it said that the StardewValleyModdingAPI thing, with the yellow looking chicken, wasnt safe and i have no idea how do get it back. Please help
Norton has most likely either quarantined it or deleted it outright. Your best bet is Nortons support. SMAPI and Norton are not supported by Chucklefish or Stardew Valley. Possibly the modding sub-forum could help.
Try this: click History. Then under Recent History, look for the event that deleted/quarantined the executable. Click on it, and if it was set to quarantine, you should see an option on the right to restore it. Do so. Then go into your Settings, and under AntiVirus/Scans and Risks, click Configure next to "Items to Exclude from Auto-Protect, SONAR and Download Intelligence Detection." Add the folder for Stardew Valley, click Okay, and you're good to go.
