Multiplayer NOT working at all

    Hi Guys! I've bought Risk of Rain a loooooooooot of time ago.
    2 days ago then i gifted my friend a copy of ROR but we were unable to play online, seems it is a common issue on the net, any suggestion from the dev please?

      You must forward ports to play RoR. The person who wants to join must type in your IP (that you give them) and the correct port (that you successfully forwarded) to join. RoR does not use steamworks like tf2, l4d2, castle crashers, etc.

        I tried it today and it worked, so it must be a problem on your end. Like ShadowlessWanderer said, if the host hasn't ported forward, it won't work.
        Also, make sure that the host gives the other players their public IP, not their local IP (just incase that was the problem).
