So currently the only community upgrade option is to build Pam a house. I'd love to see a mod that adds more of these upgrades, and I have a couple ideas: Small house for Linus Summer vacation home for the governor Stage for sam's band Therapy expansion to harvey's clinic (mainly for shane) Something with the old JojaMart Upgrade to the playground (more stuff to play with) for the kids Stairways and shortcuts in certain areas for convenience Anyways yeah, if anyone out there knows how to code something like this, and could make a mod for more community upgrades, that'd be so cool
I think there are different mods which change the appearance of the old Joja mart ruin already. The immersive map by Karmylla turned it into a public square with hot spring behind it. (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1149) The flower valley one turned it into a greenhouse, but I don't think you can go into it. (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/2030?tab=description). I don't think you need to pay for these changes to happen in these two mods. As for the house of Linus, there is a mod for that as well, though I am not sure how much Linus would actually want a house. (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1177) Unlike Penny who had expressed her wish of living in a house, Linus seems pretty happy and satisfied with his current living.
True, but what I'd like to see is being able to build these things with your own resources and money. And I realize Linus doesn't want a fancy house, just like, a small cabin or something, nothing too crazy.
