Monster Log Obtainment

    What exactly are the requirements for getting a monster to drop their LOG item? It seems to be almost random. :confused:

        I know, but it's not very clear. It just seems to happen, and I don't really feel like it's an accomplishment to get the LOG. Just keep playing.

          I just got the Log for 'Sand Crab', which I believed was a beaver. I am in shock now, how could I mistake a crab for a beaver? :oops:
