Read the post on the front page and I'll throw some ideas of attacks/abilities for creatures. (Note that I'm a relatively new player and may have not encountered all attacks)

    - Sting: Should be obvious, low damage, poisons.

    - Heave ho: Picks up and throws player away, great for beefy neutral creatures. No damage (except possible fall damage).

    - Crash course: Like charge but moves in any direction and destroys blocks on way, may damage creature itself.

    - Dart bomb: Shoots small projectiles in every direction.

    - Stand ground: Creature will protect itself, puffing chest or holding head in front of it, blocking damage as a shield. May be triggered by gunfire, silencers and bows useful.

    - Zigzag: Creature will quickly jump up and down while charging the target, like triple hop but always on move, faster and smaller jumps (or straight zigzag-pattern movement in air).

    - Vacuum: Creature will suck target closer (birds may flap wings, combined could be super vacuum) and bite target when in contact.

    - Slamdunk: Creature jumps and throws a rock or a basketball at target mid-air. High velocity profectile, birds may be users (that would be actually pretty neat, with basketballs)

    - Mindless dash: Creature runs back and forth damaging everything on its way for some time. Great for neutral creatures that have no clue what happened:)

    - Feral feast: Creature will stay in contact with target, continuously damaging, medium dps depending on level (maybe too brutal name)

    - Warp: Creature teleports on the other side of the player.

    - Triple warp: Like triple hop, but a lot slower (some kind of warning before every individual warp), third one as close to player from behind, unavoidable, low to high damage (dangerous attack, creature preferred to be killed before last warp or run away to end encounter)

    - Warp shot: Creature warps and shoots three consecutive projectiles at target (warping to a place with a line of sight would be cool and all, but everyone will have it easier if creature teleports like in Warp, with a chance of locking itself in)

    - Sneak warp: Creature warps behind player (or as close to it and player), waits a second and attacks.

    - Orb field: Creature shoots 10-30 small glowing orbs wide around that will stay levitating until creature was killed or encounter ended, can stack. May simply stay for a time.

    - Suplex: Grabs target and makes a suplex, simple as that. Creature lets go of target on hit, target may bounce up before landin g on feet.

    - Toothpick: Same as heave ho, but damages on contact. Target grabbed with teeth.

    - Shoo!: Normal melee attack, high knockback.

    - If you see this - run: Creature becomes invinsible for a time, charges at the player and explodes, like a bomb. Great when creature has last block of health.

    - Lick wounds: Creature heals itself slowly, may be programmed to act this way after three failed attack attempts or something alike. Great for persistent creatures. Animation may simply be moving paw/leg/wing/limb around mouth.

    - Break crust: Creature hits target and ground below it, destroying blocks (damaging hard ones).

    - Meltdown: Creature will emit a lot of smoke around it that will cause burning. Last move the creature will make, dies if encounter ends or is killed. Great if creature uses when damaged enough, may slow the user.

    - Call for help: Creature will call creatures of same species for help (or all), nearby creatures will attack the target. May be used only once per encounter, great for neutral creatures.

    - Horn horn: Horn emits loud noise (in game, not in earphones) and damages the target.

    - Camouflage: Creature is invisible, when target touches it starts to become visible and follows target, biting it in the next few seconds. Great for starting encounters with aggressive creatures, only once per encounter (before encounter).

    - Finale: Brutal attack, for finishing off the target. Usable only after target has less than 10% of health, always makes 80% of targets max hp, ignores defence. Creature leaps at target, once in contact target cant move, creature throws target up and shoots a projectile that damages. While leaping immune to knockback. Player may survive by healing himself to >80% hp before the shot (from <10%, since attack cant be used before it), creature may try again. If multiple targets, move can be used when all of the targets have less than A*10% of max hp, A being the number of opponents, and if more than eight opponents, when at least 8 have less than 80% of max hp.
