Modding Help Modding Error! My Tool is a generic item!

My mod has an error and comes out as Perfectly Generic Item/Tool and has a green box as its icon. Please help me!

 

Hello,

FIRST THING TO DO: open your starbound.log and search for error line with some of the files associated with your mod.

My guesses:
check if the files exist:
coalpickaxe.png
coalpickaxebig.png
coalpickaxeicon.png

if it doesn't help: try to remove the path before the sfx like:

/sfx/coalpickaxe_hit.wav

the new Mod system should be finidng the sound even without the initial path of your modname.

 

thanks I fixed it last night! But you were right it was a sfx problem
