I've got a confusing problem, I made a chest armor which shows up fine ingame except that it doesn't display the preview mannequin when moused-over. I can't think what the issue might be, except that I used partial transparency (but it appears on the player just fine when worn)?

hmm have you tried it without the race mod? maybe the new race is the problem... :)

Other clothes work on them just fine though. After some searching it seems to be a random problem that vanilla items have too (for example, the human sweatshirt that mine was modded from) x_o

You should use the cardboard costume images for armor. Probably be a lot easier

How did you get past the loading screen issue?

I've got the Hydrolyth Tech Upgrade as one of the default recipes for tier10, so that isn't the problem. I've also tried just putting the frames files in a the location specified, and it still didn't work.

Okay, so I got past the loading screen issue, but now my items are Perfectly Generic. D:. I'll reupload it here: http://puu.sh/5OMYf.zip

I recommend Paint.net over Gimp. It has a much more straight-forward UI and lower technical requirements.

You make it. It goes into the recipes folder of your mod. You can grab one of the others from assets/recipes to use as a template.
