seriously, I get the idea/context of the dang term but I don't know how to really describe it all to well.

Why are you agonizing over my use of the word evil? Will it make you feel better if we agree to just say "aggressive and hostile" instead? Crimeny.

 

I said I don't see them as evil. I never said they 'aren't all that evil'. But you said they're borderline evil- I want to know what puts the borderline on borderline evil.

There is no agonizing going on for me, only interest as to why you think of it that way. That's why I asked what makes it borderline. As such, my feelings and emotions over this has no relevance to the topic in question.

 

There's a difference between them being aggressive and carnivorous and being malevolent, a big difference.

 

... more like fiercely territorial, very efficient recyclers. Cannibalism ... or composting?

 

I feel that Thornlike teeth would not be very effective against a steel chassis, and that they would receive no nutrients from doing so, and they may end up poisoning themselves.

Nevertheless, they will try...

 

Kinda scary to think that my garden could actually come alive and kill me in Starbound.

Just make sure to not have any five to six foot plants laying around,

Apart from that they're all small plants

 

Notice that they were hinting that florans have no concept for non-plant life, which might mean also that they have no concept for other cultures unlike themselves. Im willing to bet they will eagerly prey upon other tribes of florans as well.

 

As long as the tree is not about humonoid sized,
