Race Meet the Cerpine

Added Heavy Armor sprite and drawn picture, and Cerpine items!

 

I really like the talking and sleeping animations. Great work, this should really be in the game!

It's simple, but it sounds a lot better than the last theme, and the tempo isn't horribly off.

I also added a relation with the Liberi, and a short description of their religon!

 

Very interesting race, though... they need something... hmm...

Just out of curiosity, why are you at war with the Lycanthropes?

 

THEY started it.

But as you can see, the Lycanthropes are very war-like, but not honorable like the Dragoknights. They bully people into not putting up a fight, so the Cerpine, being the Good guy Greg stereotype, challange them. Also, the Lycanthropes want to change planets to ice and snow, which are very hard planets for the Cerpine to live on. They also would have been at war with them anyway.

I really want a lizard/snake-like race in Starbound, and I actually like these guys a lot more than the Glunaughts. *would rather be a snake than a turtle* So yeah, I like the idea. Although I kind of wish their suits looked a little less bulky and simple. But they are cool! 8 D Sure, I'd vote for these guys being a playable race! 8 D

 

I've made my choice.

Cerpine, despite the many fights that seem to spontaneously break out in your cities for no apparent reason, I'll join you in your war efforts.

 

Random fights? Oh, you mean between Glunaughts?

 

Yeah.

 

It dosn't happen often, most of the time they can't stand to live in each other's cities.
But when it does, neither side seems to uphold the law properly.
But even the best kinds have their flaws.

 

And that's what we should strive for.

To try and repair these flaws and make ourselves the best we can.
