Me and my friend have new characters, but different run and attack speeds?

Hi, me and my friend both created new characters to play co-op together, but I noticed she has noticably faster running and attacking speed than me.

She has an I3 laptop and I have a slower AMD A4 laptop, could that be what's causing it or is there another reason?

I would have thought computer speed wouldn't allow one character to run faster.

You can equip EPP augments that increase your walking/jumping speed, and weapons also have unique speeds

 

she said she is not using mods and i definitely am not.

i do know her laptop is better than mine but both just have the integrated graphics.

also i made a mistake, hers is an i3 not i5 and mine is still amd A4

we did a new game from scratch and werent using any augments and just had a sword with the same stats, the starting sword

we tried it with her as the host and also me as the host and it still happened.
