RELEASED Manufacturer's Touch 1.2.16

That's not actually a bug, they're using Xia-Li weapons, which shock the user if they run out of energy while firing. Normally players can manage to work around this, but NPCs fire until they run out of energy, and shock themselves.

You can disable this shock by setting "disableOnEnergyExhaustionStatus" to true in the config file. It'll stop it for the player too.

And is this compatible with melee aim mod? because I can't move my spear around while holding down primary attack (left click and hold) for some reason.

I don't see any files that would be incompatible with Melee Aiming, so I'm not sure why spears wouldn't be aimable. If there are any errors in your starbound.log, I can help you there.

The config is a separate "mod" that just overrides the settings. It's available here. Just download it and open it, and the readme file inside should tell you how to edit it and make it work.

 

Sounds like the Xi-La Energy drain is proccing when they fire.

Sorry for the late reply, it's been a while since I checked this thread. It is compatible with Weapon Assembly.

hmm, for some reason some ranged weapons from this mod don't work. They are just stuck in hands like decorative. Those weapons with 3 lines of characteristics don't work, and others with 6-7 lines work. Don't know why. IIRC for weapons I use FU and your mod.

FU Related

I test-drove this with latest FU release. The Protectorate starter pistol became un-magazined, and operated as an accurate hi-velocity MG that fed directly from the energy pool.

For those concerned about removal effects, taking out the mod strangely only Perfect-itemed a few melee weapons on existing characters (no real loss for me, this is what testbeds are for). Removal of the mod also restored the Protectorate pistol's magazine functionality on both on the unleveled starter and a leveled version on another character.

Can someone make a patch for the Weapon Overhaul? Ever action rifles, Handcannons and other weapon from this mod don't work
