I have modded my game with my mods, and it takes FOREVER to load, to the point where it appears to never render. How do I fix this loading annoyance, it just loads and won't stop. I have had it on the screen for a good 5 minutes or so (no stopwatch or counting in my head, just a rough estimate) and I don't want to wait this long/I don't want it to crash. Anyone experience this and fix it? If so, please tell how you fixed it. Thank you.
How many mods to you use? You could try making a dedicated mods folder and adding it to your bootsrap.config. Also try to keep all the files for each mod in one folder, don't place a recipe in /recipes/starter/plain/ and the item in /item/. It will take much longer to load due to how folders are searched.
Make sure you have no zip files in any folders either. I've learned that causes the game to load indefinitely.
Always press escape when you reach the Chucklefish logo when modding your game. If there's something wrong, it'll crash like hell, and it'll print the issue in starbound.log
