Ra fell back in stride next to Alazia. He whispers into her ear, "What's a leprosy?"

 

'I just realized, we have yet to introduce ourselves!' She gave a small bow. 'I am Alazia the Scarlet, water mage. I think that was made apparent earlier though.'

 

Elyan the Leper. And Elyan the Alchemist. And Elyan the Alpha. As in alpha wolf."

 

'Dunno, maybe it is a disease where you put stupid pictures on shields.' She whispered back.

 

Ra grins at Alazia's last statement. "I'm Ra, archaeologist and fire mage." Ra then proceeded to do a flaming backflip before landing safely on the ground.

 

Alazia looks unimpressed.

 

Elyan also looks unimpressed. "That the best you got? I bet Ms. Rabbit Lover over here could do better."

 

Alazia makes a finger gun and points it at Ra. A jet of water sprays out, hitting him in the face.

 

Elyan laughs in amusement.

 

The ground beneath Alazia and Elyan's feet would suddenly become very hot.

 

Elyan took a few steps away from the two, not eager to have his bandages ruined by water or fire.

 

Alazia covers her feet in small water bubbles, they look like oversized slippers. 'Is the baby mad?' She asks in a cutesy voice, like she is talking to, well, a baby.

 

"Everyone knows water beats fire....''

 

"I'll burn you alive where you stand."

The heat intensifies, and steam begins to rise into the air.

 

Elyan reaches around in his backpack for something before taking out a small vial with an orange liquid in it. "I could always just drink this potion, and get some temporary fire immunity."

 

"You underestimate the intensity of my fire."

 

"You underestimate the prowess of my alchemy. Fire makes heat, and if heat is temporarily made redundant, fire is just a pretty visual effect."

 

Alazia laughs. 'Cool down, bright and shiny, it was just a bit of water. You already evaporated it.'

 

Elyan turns back to Alazia. "So what use is water besides drinking it and screwing with people?"

 

Ra looks at Alazia very seriously. "Can I have some water?"
