Sprout seems disappointed. "Wondrous places... Not exist?"

 

Calvin dramatically pretends to faint before steadying himself. "Alas..... They do not!"

 

Sprout gives him an angry look before moving closer to Ari. He's lost in his thoughts, but with a sad expression.

 

Elyan pulled Calvin aside and whispered to him. "Azalia and Ari are from Coreole, we used to travel with a mage from Solarius. The mage, who was a good friend to them, is dead, and Solarius invaded and took over Coreole with an iron fist so...it's a touchy topic around them."

 

Calvin looked at Elyan like he was crazy. "I suppose you're going to tell me that you all got transported here by some evil wizard, too."

 

"ACTUALLY we did...."

 

"Riiiiight and I bet he also pretended to be nice at first, but then some badass mage chick came and told you he was bad, am I right?"

 

"Are you spying on me or some shit?"

 

"You're insane. If people heard you ranting stuff like this they'd burn you at the stake, because you're obviously a witch."

 

Azalia pulled out her staff and slammed Calvin against the wall. 'So you are saying that Coreole, my homeland, doesn't f*cking exist!?!' She is quite furious by this point.

 

Azalia hears another whisper in her ear. "Kill him."

 

Calvin laughed nervously. "Easy there, hearing two people spew this bullshit about alternate worlds actually makes it a lot more credible....."

 

The tip of the staff glows a dark purple for a moment as she begins to comply, but then she shakes her head, and steps back. The purple glow changes naback inti the light blue, and she puts the staff away. 'Why did you say they were children's stories?' She asks coldly.

 

"Because they aren't re- Because they are.....?"

 

"What about the country Ithaka? Is that just a fairy tale?"

 

"Who the hell is Ithaka?"

 

'Just wait a sec, where are we? What is this place?'

 

"Place...?"

 

Azalia gritted her teeth. 'What. Is. The. Name. Of. The. Country. We. Are. Currently. In.'

 

Elyan waited anxiously for Calvin to stop drooling and answer.
