we both are on our second thread too... so many pages.
BBTS actually caused a few problems due to the amount of pages.

 

Didn't the mods end up having to fix some of the page stuff and up the pages before glitchyness starts to occur because of BBTS or similar? Seems like I remember that.

 

Omni gave us infinite space, so I posted a LOT of GIFs that are too big to be posted elsewhere, and caused lag.

 

I posted there once. I couldn't like everything...

 

Oh well. Infinity is now better in terms of posts anyways. BBTS doesn't even talk about ponies anymore.

You can only talk about ponies for a while. Every thread is like that, off-topic after 6000 posts.

Personally, I don't see why anyone would have to close a thread just because of how big it is. I would see it as a huge accomplishment, and would be very annoyed or frustrated to have to move or make a new one. I've been on plenty of other forums with threads longer than this, and if you think this is a lot, just wait until after starbound is officially released.

If it starts to lag just because of a large thread, then it's probably time to get a new serverhost or get their hardware checked on. The forums still have plenty of hiccups to warrant it right now too.

 

Making a new thread every week or two? Nothx.
Unless, well, administration needs it.
But this still-not-yet-fixed Xenforo is already not as good as year earlier, so unless we'll get over 9k pages I don't think we have to get a new thread.

 

Yet still, going beyond 10k pages makes some kind of glitches (as Omni or somebody else said) - that's why BBTS had to make another thread.
And we had to make another one because of lack of the leader. I'm still surprised we succeeded.
And now... only about 30 pages and we'll have as much as the old thread had~.

 

So what do I get for throwing candy on the ground? So far there's 300 down there.
