Immediate CTD with or without Smapi. Fresh install.

This isn't my first time play Stardew, but it is the first time on a new computer. With an absolutely fresh install I get a CTD, that is with or without SMAPI installed. I have reinstalled XNA as well.

I'm at a loss at how to get this working. I'd love to have mods working, but I would even settle for vanilla working at this point.

After trying countless 'fixes' I finally figured out what the issue is. For anybody having a similar problem:

If you run MSI Afterburner, specifically RivaTuner Statistics, it causes this problem. You will need to close RivaTuner or exempt Startdew and Smapi from it by adding them in RivaTuner and selecting detection level to None.
