I will never have to buy a game from another developer... Starbound should keep me busy until this comes out, then its time to do some fishing!!! Great looking game so far, keep it up!
I'm in the right forum he just said that star bound was gana keep him busy until SV is out and I didn't think it was out yet either. I'm looking forward to SV more then SB personally
Then you're terribly missing out. Harvest Moon was one of the greatest ongoing series imo. Rune Factory was okay, but still an amazing genre.
Wox is harmless guys ! maybe. This game is actually making me regret giving my copy of harvest moon for the DS away, I'm just as excited for Stardew Valley. You should look into this game more wox, it's going to be great.
Rune Factory was OKAY? Well, that's a severe understatement. I've only played Rune Factory 3, but after playing that, I'm struggling to get back into any of the Harvest Moon games. I miss all the hilarious dialogue! The characters in RF3 have proper (and over-the-top) personality, it's awesome. You don't really find any of that in any of the HM games.. I could take awesome quotes from this game all day, haha.
I played the original, never got the chance to play its sequel though . Twas a great game regardless.
I only played the PS3 Rune Factory, RF: Tides of Destiny. It was fun, but I think the half of me that wants to grow a farm and make peace and love with everyone really conflicts against the half of me that wants to pick up dual swords or the wind rod and murder all the monsters in sight.
I think the problem with Stardew Valley is that I won't be able to play another Harvest Moon game after this, because I'll keep comparing it to SV and realizing which is better >.>
I imagine that's similiar to just comparing different copies of Harvest Moon. On the plus side, if Stardew Valley is successful, then years after Stardew Valley's release, perhaps Natsume will consider trying to make some ports for their games for the PC like Harvest Moon or Rune Factory games. I'd play both games if they were around, that's for sure, along with Stardew Valley
