Well, I can't really draw. And, my farmer is pretty much just me... If all the clothes were grey, anyway.
thank you so much!! i kinda realised that willow looks a lot like me back when my hair was short and blonde. wooops
Can't draw to save my life, I lost my creative bone years and years ago. But this is my first and so far favorite farmer, Minimanta. Would have given her glasses too, but I just don't like how they look on the sprite. (I need to hunt down a better glasses mod, if such a thing exist now that I think about it)
So cute! I am the same. I wanted mine to have glasses as well but don't like how they look. Makes me sad. I always have glasses IRL and in video games when I can.
I drew her! Inspired by @mushfae. I was already working on a portrait based off of Sebastian, so here's a portrait... based off of a portrait... based off of a portrait of Sebastian. Fun! Edit: forgot a layer. Fixed!
I know! All the glasses in the game look so awkward on a forward-facing sprites, but I look weird without glasses, so
Mushfae inspired me, those portraits were fantastic, and then Cankersaur's followup clinched it, and I had to give it a try! Miz Lillian, my farmer, based on an early version of Abigail and with outfit from an early version of Elliot. Just your average librarian down on the farm! I hope you don't mind my following your lead, Mushfae!
@Lilliput wow, that hair is amazing! I tried to draw Scully from the X-Files and I wish her suit looked that good, haha.
hello it is I, back again because I decided to go more in depth cause I had so much fun with the other portraits I did!
@mushfae I was wondering, what program do you use to do your sprites and portraits in? It's very close to the in game ones.
I just use regular ol' photoshop! I use the pencil tool and have it set up so the grid size is 16x16 pixels.
What's the name of the font that you used? I'm really considering doing a similar setup for my own OC.
Isn't that font from the game sprite? IDK if CA did use the custom font or using existed one. btw, nice portrait and proflie you got there!
