Closed I already pre-ordered but I want to upgrade

Can I upgrade my pre-order or do I need to buy a new pre-order? And can I use the same e-mail address? I want to be sure I'm not wasting money try to upgrade.

I read the FAQ and I understand it's a pain to upgrade so I'll gladly buy a second copy, but can I put it on the same e-mail as my first or will that complicate things?

Nevermind, further research has informed me that nothing bad will happen. now I have two copies of the game and a character that will be named after me! Yay! A bit vain, perhaps, but we are all allowed to be vain once in a while.
