Love the material modifiers! it makes my stuff so much better to be able to do this!.
could I request a new block? it would look really nice for me if you could make a glass block that does diagonals. similar to how your dreadwing hull plating does. I'm building a giant glass dome and I think it would look better that way.

Is there any really large doors in this mod? The thing I am looking for is stuff that would fit with a hanger bay door feel. The normal sized doors are good for players sized things, but how would you move things like shipping crates around if they are bigger then any of the doors? Also it would be useful for building a "shuttle bay" even if they would have little use thanks to teleportors.

 

I like both of these suggestions. I'll add them to my list. I"m quite likely to be adding material modifier pipes for every tileset, as well, similar to the current brass pipe.

How are the new racial trim tools working out? Much improved compared to the old version?

 

Sadly I keep forgetting to use all the new stuff this mod adds. I'm so caught up with things like breeding bees that I forget to make my base and ship look nice (I'm using the magic island ship mod and frankly it is nothing but a simple tree farm at this point. I barely even have any walls at all!).

If I may suggest one tiny thing? Reversible engines. I would love to be able to place them in both directions. It would be really cool, thank you.

 

I'll add that to my list, I guess. It's not a hard thing to do, just a matter of adding a line of text, I think.

 

I just modified the overview page to somewhat re-organize the screenshots and wrap them in spoilers tags, to make it easier for people to selectively see the screenshots they want. I'm just looking for some opinions.

Is this better? Worse? Personally I was getting a little tired of scrolling all the way down, just to see reviews and/or edit the page.

Nope. Just tried it and far as I can tell all of the material mod tools are broken.

That's going to be quite hard to fix unless they actually let us have some API docs.

And the new approach I took with the paint tool images doesn't work. They apparently altered the format of the '.frames' file type slightly or something.

To be honest, I'm a little tweaked off that all the work I've put into this mod in the past month or so now completely fails to work (material modifier tools).
