I have installed a bunch of mods but now a couple of my friends want to play vanilla so i need to figure out how to uninstall the mods. They were so easy to install am I just stupid and it is just as easy to uninstall please help me hahahahahah.
Remove them from \starbound\mods\ You could just make a folder in \mods\ called _disabled drag the mods into there for now so nothing loads. Cut/paste them back out when you want to use them again. Now keep in mind you probably don't want to(and possibly cannot) use your characters that play with mods. You'll loose too much stuff. Placed mod blocks become dirt. Placed mod objects disappear but possibly leaving behind their collisions. Stuff in inventory becomes PGIs. So DO NOT load these characters. You might even backup \starbound\storage\player\ just in case. Roll a new character for playing on dirty vanilla servers.
Or, even easier, have one of your friends that doesn't have mods host the server. My son and I play vanilla version all the time. He hates mods, I have them. He hosts, I join via steam and there are no issues at all with the server.
