Speaking of Homestuck and freakiness, on YouTube I saw, in the related videos, a tutorial on how to make a "Troll Tentabulge." Just. Why.

 

WHAT? I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS THE REASON JOHNKAT CAN'T BE A THING.
THEY BRING COMMUNISTS INTO THE SHIPPER COMMUNITY, THIS IS A WHOLE NEW PROBLEM.
HUSSIE OBVIOUSLY MADE THIS SO HE CAN DISCARD OF THE SHIP COMPLETELY TO SHOW THAT THE COMMUNISTS HOPES FOR THEIR FAULTY WAY TO GOVERN ARE ALL LOST AND THAT DEMOCRACY IS THE REAL PATH TO FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS
Excuse me as I just shoot myself in the foot, but it seems that Liberty Prime here speaks in Egbert's color, and speaks in Karkat's quirk
Now obviously I use all caps to show that I am yelling and spreading democracy (The true path to freedom) to others around me, so that might not mean anything

First off, there is no canon depiction of such an appendage
Second, such an appendage is not even mentioned and may well not even exist in troll anatomy

Tentabulges are the shit. They look so fun.

Hussies fault really. Its all for fun, and I would rather artist go wild with their imaginations rather than giving them the standard junk.

 

My problem isn't with people having headcanons. My problem is with people who try to pass their headcanons off as actual canon without any evidence, or even with evidence to the contrary.

 

Never seen anyone who draws smut claim that anything they do is canon, unless its their own story. I've never really met anyone to believe it was canon for real

 

Basically that. Why classify that under Homestuck and then spread it around on YouTube?

All the images based off it are cool and all, but when I watched it, I got bored after a few minutes and closed it out. :/

 

I don't know about smut specifically. I'm sort of now just ranting on aspects present in parts of the fandom in general.

 

Thats like saying fan adventures can't call themselves homestuck fan adventures. Like it or not Tentabulges fall under the fandom, in a dark corner not traversed by many, still there. Tentabulges are kind of unique as well, even though it is a spawn of wild fantasy. In all of my internet travels I have never came across junk like those things.

 

Nobody knows. I've used kismeses, kismesises, kismers, and probably others

 

Still, most fanventures have at least a sparse connection to MSPA, whether it's through art or plot. With tentabulges, the only connection is the fact that we don't know much about troll anatomy. I could essentially go and say that trolls have cats for genitalia, and it would be on the same level of validity as tentabulges.
