Some sacrifice wouldn't hurt to help us regain the usual mood. Equivalent exchange, yeah? A human sacrifice would obviously equal to the mood of a thred. Just find an unsuspecting, dirty communist. Lay it on the altar, raising our ornamented sacrificial knife over it's heart so we can precisely stab it and render this organ useless. Tell it that democracy is the way to live. Stab it. And viola! The mood is restored.

 

I hope the knife is in red white and blue and has an eagle for the handle. It also has the ability to turn into a minigun.

Wasn't planning on going into the details of our sacrificial knives. Yes, it does have those features, even the ability to turn into a minigun. It even has an emergency switch to explode in a glorious display of red white and blue death. The mark 2 version of it can be turned into a Tesla cannon instead of a minigun. Though that's just for different tastes in weaponry.
Really, the explosive part of it is for if you where to ever be surrounded by red chinese communists while in a sacrificial session. So you wouldn't be captured because you would commit suicide by an explosive, American death. This is because death is a preferable alternative to communism
