Good luck using GIFs in RPG Maker.

Actually, I know a way you can simulate the behaviour smoothly, though. You'd have to make it into a sprite sheet and use a script and then affix it with some super special characters and values to make it work, but it can be done.

It's how I manage to pull this sort of shit off.

I actually don't think I'm going to be using RPG Maker for this game, as I've found a python game engine that is specifically used for visual novels and the like. And since I actually know some python, it should be fairly simple

 

Excuse me are you insinuating that a game needs to have deep invigorating combat to be a good game because that is not the case.
To be fair though, it has everything that you've listed but what I would call a "Deep" combat system, but even then things can get pretty tactical when you're fighting a full team of players who are good at the game.

 

Everyone in the game needs a gif.

I assume you're going to need a handful of expressions for the sim anyway, I just meant to put them into a gif afterwards.
