The Prime trilogy was sooo far ahead of its time, gameplay and graphics wise.

Already got my eyes on a few, and those few being Monster Hunter 3u, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
Already have Fire Emblem: Awakening, but those who suggest it probably already know I've got it due to the avatar
Not sure which to get
However, I'm open for more options, so anyone else got any suggestions?

Yes.

It was much shorter than the other games and the story was dumb, but I still had fun with it.

Its pretty ok. Samus becomes a marry sue anyway. I suggest playing the old ones where you actually have trouble doing things that require skill. I don't suggest anything beyond echos. If you beat fussion and metroid 2, you are a god. I haven't seen much of metroid 2, but in fussion, not dying is not an option.

I still don't know if I passed alg. 1. My new awful teacher attempted to teach me, so I taught myself. That particular lesson, I flunked. I hope I pass and you pass. Did I forget to mention I didn't study?

I will say, i did too, it just shouldn't have been a Metroid game

 

IKR??? Sheesh they gotta pick up the pace with that franchise soon or I will start flipping my shit fo' reals. Metroid is my favorite group of Nintendo games, and that says a lot coming from me. But as far as I can tell Retro did a great job with DKTF as well, should check it out I guess.

Its just that, like most new hyped games of a very renowned series, it didn't live up to the series' standards

 

I tried running Prime on my comp using Dolphin
FPS was too low to be enjoyable even with correct settings
god I hate my shitty desktop

 

Yeah I dunno, I always super-liked Prime 3, don't really get why it keeps getting dissed. It was still waaaaaaay more true to Metroid standards than that one game was, yet brought a very pretty aesthetic and interesting experimental gameplay which really mixed it up and set a different feel than the previous two, I never got the urge to overuse the Hypermode due to me being a health-greedy bugger, but other than that I think the game was fine.

-I think that similar opinions to those brought up should instead be directed to Hunters, but even that game has entertained me for years, hours of glitching and AI-exploits included.
