I genuinly boop the parrot's beak from time to time. The look of utter contempt is priceless.
Sometimes I'm not fast enough so the boop becomes a headscratch.

Goddamnit, I taught that class for just two weeks and I already miss them. They were genuinely interested in history! How often do you find that among 8th-graders?

 

Rarely

 

To be quite honest, I rather liked history during my later primary school years and during high school.
Too bad we never got past the Christian crusades before History classes went to hell.
Being teached by someone who cycled without a saddle at first because he liked that, and then by an older woman who had a very high "grandma" aura about her.

 

Those teachers, as well as the inexperienced ones who don't seem cool, are rarely treated with respect. Well done Surenu you managed to get a group of eighth graders to respect you! That's better then I can.

 

Yeah, no stud- wait, what? Interest? In something? From students? Is that even a thing? What did you wish on, as I don't think a holy grail would be enough for THAT!
