I liked Sam's personality but he wasn't enough of a bishie for me. Promptly fixed that. I'll probably be making more, (Sebastian will most likely be next.) Not sure If I'll do the girls. They have enough mods as it is, anway. Comes with a sprite change, too. Not very major, just made his eyelashes a bit longer and touched up his bangs to look a bit more similar to the portrait. Anyway, enjoy~ http://www.mediafire.com/download/1in81312z4gf5w2/Hotter+sam+mod.zip
He totally looks like a Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds character in your art, love it. Tempted to add it in but I like normal Sam too. >.<
Haha oh my god he totally does. While I was making it I thought i was making him look too much like Roxas, but I totally see that now too.
I would totally love you if you made a portrait mod to turn everyone into Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds inspired characters. That would make my year.
Go to where your Stardew Valley game is located. For me, it's located in: This PC>OS(C: )>Program Files(x86)>Steam>steamapps>common>Stardew Valley>Content. When you're in the content folder, drag the Sam.xnb that's in the portraits folder into the portraits folder in content. And to get the sprite, drag the Sam.xnb that's in the Character folder to the Character folder in content. Make a back up of your files, though, just in case something goes wrong, or if you ever want to go back to the original game portraits. (Sorry if my explanation is confusing)
He looks so nice! Do you have any plan on other bachelors ? I'm looking forward for my cutie doctor > w < ♥
I do plan on doing more eventually! This was mostly for my own use, so my next priority would probably be Sebastian, and since I'm happy with my modded Elliott, I'd probably do Harvey or Alex after that.
It means i need to copy the Sam.xnb in both portraits folder and Character folder? (since i found there are original Sam.xnb in both folders)
Yes. But make sure to copy it into the corresponding folder. With my mod there is a sam.xnb in the portraits folder, and so that sam.xnb goes into the portraits folder in the stardew valley folder, and then the sam.xnb in the Character folder goes into the character folder. For example, don't put the sam.xnb from the portrait folder into the character folder as well. You don't even have to bother with the character folder at all, if you don't want, since it doesn't change his portrait, just his sprite.
You might want to consider posting your mod on the WIP/Released Mods subforum as detailed in this post so that others can easily find it in the future I would hate for it to get lost within the confines of the General Mod Discussion page as it is a very nice version
