I won a silver tier pre-order, but I've already purchased the pixel tier.
How would I go about handing a friend my pixel tier and me taking the silver?

You can ask a refund for the pixel tier.
Take the silver tier yourself. And then buy the pixel tier with the money you got refunded.

Just give him the humble bundle page you got in the email for the pixel tier, then when the beta is out he can use that page himself.

The page, where you can download the soundtrack, is where the game will be. Just give him the link to that page.
