Best ship mod i have ever seen o.o it totally looks like out of Contra or Metroid or Predator

 

Thanks! It is based on Metroid, Cybernator and other old games!

...but the hardest part was to draw all things together!

 

Very nice, though the backgrounds for a few of the rooms are kinda bleh imo. The pinkish/redish one in particular really stands out and not in a good way to me.

Also might want to warn ppl only to use it with new chars, tried it with a previous save with a fully upgraded ship and yeah it was all kinds of broken

You are right, i will mess around with the room colors and include alternate ship variations

 

@ voxelstyle : u did great job dude i rly reconize the graphic style of old game i played younger =)

i have 2 suggestion :
- research station is missing (the one who spawn later when u upgrade ship and where u can craft stuff like creature capture station...)
- look like its missing light trusters on back of ship to the left of fuel hatch

i agree about some background colors.
about broken stuff on ship with already created character
first make a backup of your player folder
you will have probably to go in : ...Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\giraffe_storage\player
and delette the .shipworld file who corespond to your character
(to know wich file is your last character simply log the character in game then quit and class files by last edited)
becarefull it's gonna delette all items in your ship so before doing that put everything on your home planet

edit :
i just made some test and i can confirm than if you delette the shipworld file (and the shipworld.bak)
you can add this amazing ship to an old character and if your vannilla ship was full upgraded, the moded ship will be fully upgraded too.

 

Amazing, the experience shows! also if you are planning on alternate ships, will they have a different theme? whichever choice you make, its amazing work!

 

Good to hear it can be worked around, still it was funny seeing the ship all scrambled up like a glitchy old game

I think my fuel input is broken. Clicking use button it makes a beep but nothing happens. I upgraded the ship once and just got some fuel but cant add it to the ship so im kinda stuck. I'll keep messing around trying to get it to work. Might be another mod conflict?

 

This is happening for me as well. Even after repairing the rest of the ship, the fuel tank remains broken.

 

I can't figur out why the thrusters and the fuel hatch doesn't work! I will mess around tomorrow!

there is 3 kinds of fuel hatch, 2 broken with different look and the normal one (fixed)
your problem is in the blocks.png you keep using the color for the broken version
the good color for the working fuel hatch is : rvb : 255 90 90

 

don't trust the download link and you didn't include a .shipworld file ?

 

donload link work fine and have no risk !

you dont need shipworld file if you make new character

Badass. Anyway you can make it work with existing characters? Would love to use this ship.
