Closed Game freezes at chuckle fish screen

    I can get the game up and running but it freezes at the chuclefish screen, I end up at 100% disk space which makes NO sense because i can run various larger games at the same time as one another (For example: Guild wars 2 and Garrys Mod i can run both at the same time most of the time) I know this is a beta and there would be bugs and stuff but why cant i run it? oh and if it matters im running windows 8 (not 8.1)
