Closed Game Crashes - Fatal Exception Error

    Ran Open GL and Regular Launch and my game crashed and gave me a error.

    Error - Fatal Exception Caught: (AssetException) Error loading asset/cinematics/chuckles.png:0
    then
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library - This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.


    Any Ideas on this, Thanks in advance for the help

    Edit: Tried Stable and ran it with no problems

    My error report, when I don't have my character mod installed that alters the chucklefish intro, looks exactly like this, with the 10 codes of 6-digits in between.

    By the code of the error we get, I think Chuckles wanted to change their emblem in game, but forgot something and it doesn't works now.

    I am personally just going to wait till they do the next nightly update and see if that fixes the problem. Otherwise i might just take a break from playing starbound.

    I see they still havnt fixed the error yet. Wonder how long it is going to take to get the fix for it.

    Well i am not surprised with the update they just did, it didnt fix the error. Kinda Disappointed with Nightly and how its being done. Cant Test if you cant even run it. Will give it a few days if they cant get it to actually run i will probably wait till the next stable update.

    hooray for game development! oh, and yeah, wont launch for me aswell still, kinda wondering if my char will get wiped after this, wont be sad, still havnt seen the other ships aside from floran and human

    Just downloaded over 800 MBytes to find that packed.pak is still unpackable. Chucklefish: Read the Starbound log. Assets take longer than 0.3 seconds to load.

    Yep, tonights Patch hasn't solved the Problem.
    If I start the Game, insted of the chuckleing Chucklefish I become this:

    Then it trys to load some time, before the abort Screen comes, where it says this:

    (Sorry, it's a german OS of Win7 64. ^^ )

    And that's what the Logfile says:

    I made a mod using stable branch assets to get the loading screen running again, the game eventually got to where the main menu should be, but it was just a black screen with the mod and version info on the right.
    So not much luck there, can't find the main menu images that are missing.
