I would like to see a flying Nimbus/Cloud in Starbound. You will obtain it for finding a Turtle and then bring him to an old man on an Island on the same Plantet. (Yes, Im thinking of Kame Sennin from Dragonball) The cloud would be faster then walking and it would be rare .Also you can take a friend or two with you.
For one thing: starbound doesn't have any magical things in it, so is there a logical explanation? Second: would this count as a jetpack? Don't misunderstand me I like the idea
I know that Starbound is supposed to not have Magic in it, but the game takes place in the future, there will be bosses, probably pretty unrealistic so why not a cloud Its supposed to be more like a Flying vehicle then a jetpack
I like the idea to and as for a explanation other the magic the nimbus cloud could be a sentient creature or a mass of tiny creatures that take the form of a cloud that the player can use to travel
It doesn't have to be magical. It can be a special yellow gas that floats and can support weight. For controls you could attach thrusters. Very tiny ones so it still looks cool
Its a good Idea because its a reference to Dragon Ball, but it will look weird in a spacial game like Starbound, but in terraria it could work. But in Starbound could be a skate like in Sonic Raiders that flutuates and generate clould , then when the wether is windy, the wind dismiss the cloud disguise and show the "real" form of the flying machine
Eh... personally I don't really like the idea. It doesn't really seem to fit into the futuristic vibe of Starbound very well, so I don't think it's something that I'd like to see added. However, you did make me a bit nostalgic of Mario Bros. . I remember getting the cloud from that spiky shell monster throwing bastard. Anyways, I voted no.
