Well, what sort of games are you interested in? What platforms do you have?

Here's two I first tried somewhat recently and enjoyed

Prey (2017)

I only bought this game because of how much I loved Alien Isolation. Fun fact: It plays nothing like Alien Isolation, but that didn't stop me from enjoying it.

Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice (3DS)

I really didn't expect to enjoy this game, but somehow I did. A game on lawyering. It's a nice break for action games where you have to concentrate a lot. Don't get me wrong, the game isn't easy, but it's really fun for playing if you want a more simple to control game.

Ni no kuni 2 might be a good option ( ° ∀ ° )ﾉﾞ

 

How about Total War Shogun 2, it is a perfect choice if you like a strategy and war games.

 

Any game in the Sims series, preferably Sims 3.

 

For now, I can only think of Stardew Valley, lol... I play it 7 hours a day if I get time... but my other favorite games are GTA 5, Minecraft, Geometry Dash...
