I bought the tile with same color as Leah's room but the game won't let me place it. is it any possible way to change the floor in the middle between these two rooms?
The reason you are not able to change the coverings on the floor and walls in that room is they are placed in the building layer of the house. What this does is not allow you to wall paper or change it as it is hardcoded to change that room via script for each seperate spous male/female. You can however change that one strip to be on the back layer the same as the rest of the floor and walls apart from the bottom part of the wall that is also on the building layer to prevent you walking through the wall. The reason it allows the bottom part of the wall to be papered is it is scripted to work that way. These cripting changes are hidden from us as far as i can tell. In my FarmhouseExtended mod i will change that section to be changed with the rest of the bedroom tiles.
