Bug/Issue Eating glitch.

It is possible to eat a food and gain its effects without losing it.

I'm confident this glitch can be replicated on any machine, as it uses actions within the game.

1. Open a container with a food item in it. the fridge will do.
2. The character window open, move it so that there is sufficient space between it and the container.
3. click on a food item as if you were moving it.
4. "use" the food item by clicking just out side of the container window, then quickly click on an empty space in the container to put the food item back while you character is eating the food.

 

Yeah, I've noticed food not be consumed but receive the effects on the odd occasion. Never really paid much attention to it other that a "Huh, okay. Cool"
I've always assumed that there is just a chance per action on consuming that the item isn't destroyed, sort of like a luck factor I guess.
But you're not the only one that's had this happen.

<Edit: When I first read the title I thought "Why would you try and eat a Glitch? They're metal. Then my brain decided to play catch up and function>
