The door is wired to the large front door, so whether it is open or not depends on if the large front dor is opened or not. It is a bit annoying because your crew tends to open and close the door when they walk by.

I just checked again, the door opens when the front door is open and closes again when the front door is closed. If that is not the case, then something is broken.
